HISTORY
Satisfaction began life in 1998 in the tiny backroom of Hull University's Saturday Night "Disco". An accessible style and retro sound gained it a regular following among students who came to dance and listen to songs that couldn't be heard at other clubs.
Before finding its current home at Pozition Satisfaction has enjoyed residencies at The Piper Club and most notoriously at the now defunct Fez Club where along with Shiver it won the company's club night of the year award in 2002.
The sound of Satisfaction is much in demand on some of the country's more discerning dancefloors and its resident DJ's have played at clubs in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds.
2006 saw the Satisfaction DJ’s make their festival debuts. First stop was the Leeds 2 day ‘Across The Tracks’ music festival, playing as part of a 50 artist line-up including Andy Smith, DJ Format, Roy Ayers and Back to Basics, plus an evening set for the after show party at the HiFi Club opening for a fantastic live blues performance from ‘Son of Dave’.
August was time to pack up their tents and head off to the Big Chill Festival, where, in the ‘Funkywormhole Sound System’ marquee, Satisfaction played alongside Jerry Dammers, Don Letts and DJ Derek.
